Bethany Youth Fellowship

The Bethany Youth Fellowship is ministry by and for the confirmed youth of the church. Together we seek to learn to be God’s people by:

• sharing faith, worship and service, practicing inclusiveness, trust and honesty,
• discerning and nurturing one another’s gifts,
• encouraging and empowering one another to "let our light shine,"

so that we may be a community with the courage to let our faith show and so be a blessing to the world around us.

Bethany Youth Committee

The Bethany Youth Committee encourages, nurtures, guides, and empowers the ministry of the Youth Fellowship.
We seek to provide this support by:

• remembering our call and identity as people of the church,
• encouraging initiative and responsibility,
• providing training, guidance, and resources for growth and service,
• speaking the truth in love,
• expecting responsibility and commitment,
• assuring that those working with the youth are serving in their best interest, and claim their authority and responsibilty as models, guides, and teachers

so that Youth Fellowship is a joyful, challenging, inspiring experience of the church both in terms of the work we share and all our relationships with each other.

Bethany Youth Sponsors

Bethany Youth Sponsors work with the Youth Committee to encourage, nurture, guide and empower the Youth Fellowship.
They help the youth learn to be God’s people so they may be a community of faith.  Youth Sponsors help by being models, guides, and teachers who know what it means to be the church, encourage initiative, expect responsibility, provide training in service, and speak the truth in love.
